How can I know my current bill plan?

Simply view your current bill plan benefits in the My Airtel App by going to MenuMy Account > My Plan

What are Freedom bill plans?

Airtel has 2 Freedom Bill Plans which provide all-inclusive benefits.

To know about Freedom Bill Plans on the My Airtel App, select Plans from the Home page and scroll down to Plans & Add Ons.

How can I buy a new Freedom postpaid connection?

Visit the nearest Lanka Bell store – Airtel Counter. To find the nearest location using the My Airtel App, from the home screen navigate to Menu > Locate Us

You may also call 1755 and raise a request to obtain a new Freedom postpaid connection.

What are the activation fee/charges for Freedom bill plans?

No activation fee is charged for Freedom Bill Plans but a refundable deposit will be taken depending on the bill plan you select.

What are the documents required to activate a new Freedom bill plan?

  1. A Duly filled postpaid Application
  2. Proof of Identity (NIC / Driving License / Passport)
  3. Proof of address under your name.
    1. Mandatory; if you are submitting a Driving license or passport.
    2. Mandatory; in case if your billing address is different to your NIC address.
    3. Type of documents that you can submit as proof of address,
      1. Utility Bills (Electricity / Water / Fixed Line)
      2. Bank Passbook (Should be updated)
      3. Bank Statement
      4. Credit Card Statement etc.
      ** Billing proof should be issued or updated within lastest 3 months.

I want to know about the Data Rollover feature.

With Data Rollover, you can carry forward your unused bill plan data balance for future consumption. There is no expiry for the rolled over data and it will remain until the connection is permanently disconnected.

E.g. At the end of the bill cycle, you have 25 GB unused data and you can carry forward this to your next bill cycle. Likewise, you can collect unused data from every bill cycle until it reaches to a maximum of 200 GB.

Is Data Rollover available for on postpaid plans?

Data Rollover is available only on Freedom 900 and Freedom 1800 bill plans.

How can I change my bill plan to a Freedom plan?

Please use the My Airtel App or chat with us via My Airtel App Live Chat / Airtel Website / WhatsApp – 755 555 555 or call 1755 to know the best-suited bill plan as per your usage.

How can I know my credit limit?

To check your credit limit, simply dial *550# from your mobile.

Also, you may check your credit limit on the My Airtel App by going to Menu My Account > Summary

How can I know my data usage?

Simply dial *550# from your mobile and select 2 to check your data usage.

You may also use the My Airtel App to view your data usage by visiting the Home Page.
