Worry-free toggle data service

• Customers are required to update their My Airtel App to version 8.0.0 to access this feature.
• Worry-free toggle feature is available only for eligible Unlimited Social Media Packs and is enabled by default.
• When ON: Social media can be used at standard SD quality (360p) without consuming Anytime Data.
• When OFF: Social media usage will consume Anytime Data or be charged on a Pay-As-You-Use basis, allowing higher speeds and access to 5G where available.

The service will be available to customers upon activation of any eligible Unlimited Social Media pack and after updating the My Airtel App to version 8.0.0

No activation is required. You will be automatically enrolled in the service when an eligible pack is activated.

Yes, Data usage will be deducted from your Anytime Data quota. Once the Anytime Data quota is exhausted, usage will be charged to the main account balance at the applicable standard rates in accordance with Airtel’s service policy.

Yes. You can purchase any available data pack at any time through the My Airtel App or other recharge channels.

You may receive an SMS or app notification informing you that your active data bundle has been fully utilized.

My Airtel App v8.0.0 is the latest version of the app (as of 30 September 2026), offering improved performance, enhanced user experience, bug fixes, and new features.

You can upgrade My Airtel App v8.0.0 by visiting the Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS) and updating the app to the latest version. To support the latest features and security enhancements, the app requires Android OS 8 or above or iOS 16 or above. Older operating system versions may not be able to receive future app updates and are advised to upgrade their device software, where possible to continue enjoying the latest My Airtel App features, including the Worry-Free Toggle feature.
