Customers of Commercial Bank can also opt to access internet banking facilities in settling their Airtel bill payments, in addition to making payments at any one of the 420 ATMs located islandwide.

The benefits of this service have also been extended to all Airtel customers for prepaid reload facilities and postpaid bill settlement to take place at any of Commercial Bank’s 198 Branches operational throughout Sri Lanka.

Amali Nanayakkara, CEO & MD Bharti Airtel Lanka (Pvt) Ltd said, “Engineering greater ease of convenience through multiple access points for customers to further enjoy our array of services on offer, is one among a number of delight initiatives to have been motioned at Airtel. Enhancing our service touch points increases in significance for our customers, with Airtel now present across Sri Lanka. We would like to thank Commercial Bank for partnering us in this instance to augment opportunity of delight for all our customers to experience and enjoy”.

Amitha Gooneratne, Managing Director of Commercial Bank said, “At the heart of Commercial Bank lies a strong and powerful belief; give greater convenience to the customer. The launch of bill payment facilities in Sri Lanka in collaboration with Airtel makes such belief a reality. With unequalled capabilities and the widest computerised network of branches, Commercial Bank leads Sri Lanka’s banking renaissance, providing the best climate now for the ever expanding community of mobile phone owners. I am certain that our partnership with Airtel is an establishment of a support system which would enhance the customer base of both institutions.”
