October 19, 2009, Colombo. Bharti Airtel Lanka, a subsidiary of Bharti Airtel, Asia’s leading integrated telecom services provider announced that it has come forward as Official Telecommunications Provider for the currently ongoing Army Exhibition and also the Army Tattoo that is to take place within the month of October. Coinciding with the 60th Anniversary celebrations of the Sri Lanka Army, the Army Exhibition and the subsequent Army Tattoo is expected to draw in crowds of over 20,000 per day.
Handing over the sponsorship cheque of Rs 1,500,000, Ms. Amali Nanayakkara, CEO of Bharti Airtel Lanka stated that “We are honoured to partner the Sri Lanka Army on this historic occasion.
